I visited Mariposa once some years ago. Very plesant people, and peacefull sorroundings like my in home town….Aarhus in the beautiful Danish Mainland, Jutland. I felt somehow at home in Mariposa. I wonder if the coay old “Betts Coin”, where we had “a burger made in heaven”. Now that was a tasty burger. Per L. 😎🇩🇰

I grew up in Mariposa!

And then you have morons speeding through the park killing about 20 to 40 of these amazing creatures a year… everywhere you see a speeding kills bears sign in Yosemite a bear was killed there when we were there. I saw hundreds of those signs.

I am so lucky to have been born and raised there. It gave me a grounded base that has helped me when I went out into the world to build my life. Everything about Mariposa - the sunrises, the springs, the falls, the people - w are my foundation stones.

But you need to reserve at least a month ahead 👍

Do you mind sharing exact location? any chance we will encounter bears? We will be driving through on our way to Tahoe and I believe you need reservations to visit this beautiful place right?
